Survivor had weak graphics,Survivor 2 had a weak gameplay and nearly no story and Survivor 3 wasn't a Resident Evil game at all.Now it's time to play the "Survivor" again and we can look forward to play a totally new game with a new storline! Updates ------- Ver.0,1 15.03.2003 Started the FAQ.Making sections etc.Took a little bit of time till this game made it up here.It's the japanese Gun Survivor 4 so everything is based on this one for now.I'll upate everything when the US/PAL release is finished.Then i also will be able to write all the files and such. I.Story of Resident Evil:Dead Aim ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- Once again the Umbrella Corporation has caused T-Virus outbreakand this time it's up to Bruce McGivern,an agent send by the government, to to take care about.Yet he doesn't know what he'll face on his journey through a deserted ship. II. The Characters in Resident Evil:Dead Aim -------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- Bruce McGivern -------------- An agent send by the US government.He's supposed to investigate the ship and stop Morpheus from causing a T-Virus outbreak.He does not know that he's going to run into hordes of zombies though. Fongling -------- Fongling is another agent but she was obviously sent by the chinese government for the same reasons why Bruce was sent to investigate.Since their aim is the same they're forced to co-operate. Morpheus D. Duvall ------------------ Morpheus is madman who has stolen T-Virus samples from our beloved Paris laboratory (Code Veronica..hmmm) and demands ransom or he'll release the T-Virus in big cities.So it's easy to understand why he feels uncomfortable with the presence of Bruce and Fongling. Enemies ------- ------- Though this game features the classic Resident Evil enemies it also introduces us to some new forms of enemies.Here I'll give some info on which weapon you should use on which enemy.That applies to all difficulties.With only a few diffirences: 1.ENEMIES ARE HARDER TO KILL ON HIGHER DIFFICULTIES -> MORE STRENTGH 2.ENEMIES CAN BE A LOT QUICKIER ON HIGHER DIFFICULTIES Zombies ------- Of course there never was a Resident Evil game without zombies.The zombies in Dead Aim can be defeated easily by shooting a few times at the head with just the Handgun thus causing a critical hit.Zombies are not hard but they can be diifult to avoid since it seems that Capcom intended to sometimes really throw you into a hordes of angry zombies and you sometimes wont see anything but zombie heads.So wathc out zombie hordes can be annoying at times. Hunters ------- Obviously a new type of hunters(opposing to the previous Alpha,Beta and Gamma Hunters....now what Delta?) since they behave a bit strange when you watch them moving.They also can evade your shots what makes them even more difficult to defeat.Use your Magnum or your Shotgun to defeat them.Wont be that easy though. Torpedo Kids ------------ The torpedo kids are small worm-like creatures you'll face when investigating the sewer system.They're quick,are coming in hordes and can jump at you.Don't think about shooting them.Just rund pastthem. Nautilus -------- You could say that the Nautilus is the "mother"of the Torpedo Kids since it's teh creature that fires them.It seems that you can't harm this creature.Since it doesn't harm you either you can just run past. Glimmers -------- You'll face this new creatures in the Heliport Area of B4 for the first time.They have hunter-like behaviour and are difficult to see since it's dark down there.I suggest that you either run past although they can attack you in a really disguisting way or shootthem a few time with your greanade launcher. Halberts -------- The so called Halbert enemies are bees or bee-liek creatures that are send by the teh Queen creature.DOn't bother fighting them just run past. Boss Enemies ------------ ------------ This game may offer the so called "Tyrant" enemies but it does not just copy the ones of the other games unlike the other Survivor games did in some cases.This game offers completely new Tyrant forms which can be encountered on Decks and some other places. Tyrant - 091 ------------ Encounter:Deck 3F Strategy:Shoot at him as long he's about to come to you.Then when he's about to jump run away but be careful don't screw yourself up in the corners.He also can hit you with his big hands REALLY BIG HANDS.Evade him when you see that he's jumping then fire with your Magnum,Shotgun or Assault Rifle.When he's wounded run away and start shooting with whatever you got.Repeat the evading emthod over and over again and he'll soon fall though he's a bit annoying he's not that difficult to beat. Pluto ----- Encounter:Heliport Area B5 Elevator Room While having strong attacks the pluto also is pretty quick.Arm your Magnum and fire while it runs towards you.That said you just can't stand a chance by ruuning away from him.When he hits you stay in front of hima nd shoot his head as much as you can.Especially on easier difficulty he'll fall soon. Queen ----- Encounter:Plant Room Laboratory on the first floor The Queen might be everything but not hard.Just take out your grenade launcher and shoot it.The magnum also does a good job.It'll fall really soon.The only thing that can be annoying is the small harbert enemies she sends out but these are also just a small bother. Morpheus -------- Encounter:Laboratory B2 Engine Room Morpheus is quick and deadly.He's very difficult to hit.It sometimes can become a try and error like rocess but it'll work.Morpheus will sometimes just stand still and start loading himsels run away and wait until he unleashes his thunder-like attacks.See you don't get stuck in acorner because it happen that he'll attack you for 4-5 times without breaks.Heal yourself when necessary and keep shooting at him since your gun loads over and over again.Difficult fight but still not s hard as his second form. Morpheus (Second Form) ---------------------- Encounter:Laboratory B2 Hallway 2 and 3 This can be hard.Just shoot his head wherever it appears to be so will step back every time you'll hit him.But don't just shoot like a crazy madman.Try to find a rythym and shoot him only when his head pops out.I'd suggest the magnum for this job.If this isn't available use your Assault Rifle butthis one only for long distances and your Shotgun for shorter ones.Watch out for Fonglings meesages so you can enter the next room in the first fight.In the second one just shoot him until he gets mad. III.The Weapons and Items in Resident Evil:Dead Aim --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Weapons ------- ------- The use of weapons is much more important then in the past Resident Evil games since the ammo isn't either unlimited nor is it easy to find like in the past Survivor games. Handgun ------- Found:Right from the start in your inventory. Ammo:9mm Parabellum Rounds. This is basically your standard weapon right from the start.Its performance against zombies is decent.For other enemies next to no use though. Used by:Bruce Silencer Handgun ---------------- Found:On the ship in Room 206 2F.Lies on the chair. Ammo:9mm Parabellum Rounds. This is Fonglings standard weapon from the start.Bruce has to find this though.Just as the name says it the is basically a silenced handgun.To me it seems kind of useless but you can use it on zombies anyway. Used by:Bruce,Fongling Semi-Automatic Handgun ---------------------- Found:On the ship in Room 302.Lies on the bed. Ammo:9mm Parabellum Rounds. Another Handgun.Can scatter 3 bullets in one row.I recommend this weapon.It can also be used for some harder enemies. Used by:Bruce Shotgun ------- Found:On the EASY difficulty you'll get this from the start.On harder difficulties you'll find this one in the Freezing Room on the first floor.Decent weapon against all types of enemies. Ammo:Shotgun Shells Used by:Bruce Assault Rifle ------------- Found:Fongling has this right from the start.Bruce finds this weapon in the Freezing Room instead of the Shotgun on the EASY difficulty.Great wepon as it is fully automatic and can shoot hordes of zombies to death in seconds. Ammo:Assault Rifle Ammo Used by:Bruce,Fongling Magnum ------ Found:Captains Bed Room 2F on the Bed.Very good weapon.Great effect against all types of enemies. Ammo:Magnum Bullets Used by:Bruce Grenade Launcher ---------------- Found:Sewer System Passage B1.Great weapon.Very effective against zombie hordes. Ammo:Grenades Used by:Bruce Charged Particle Rifle ---------------------- Found:Laboratory 1F Ammo:None Used by:Bruce Items ----- ----- Resident Evil:Dead Aim doesn't feature that many items but you'll run into many keys and should take look here if you get confused.Nevertheless take a look here to get a small info. Item:Emblem Key Found:Corpse in Room 101 2F. Use:Opens the double doors of the Guest Room I to the direction of the Vip Rooms. Item:Yellow Keycard Found:Vip Room 2F Use:Opens the double doors on the opposite site in the Guest Room I. Item:BLUE ID-CARD Found:Ship 2nd Class Rooms.Room 203 on the bed. Use:It opens the spiral staircase 1F rooms by using it on the switchboard. Item:KEY Found:Ship Pool Deck 1F.On the device at the front. Use:Eastern Hallway on the first floor with the otehr device. Item:Valve Handle Found:Ship Store Room 1F on the shelf. Use:On the Pool deck to open the entrance hole. Item:KEY(2) Found:Pool Deck 1F: Use:Open the shutter for the spiral staircase. Item:Blue Keycard Found:Cargo Room B1.In one of the boxes.Keep searchin till you find it. Use:Spiral Staircase B1.The door with the device. Item:Emblem Key(2) Found:Monitor Room B1 on the ship. Use:Used to open up the door in the Bar Seven Sears to enter the Stairs Room 1F. Item:Control Room Key Found:Corpse in the sewer sytem waterway B1. Use:Opens teh Control Room in the sewer system B1. Item:Blue Keycard(2) Found:Corpse in room with lift in the heliport area in B5.Use the lift from B4 to go down. Use:Opens the door to the elevator room in the Heliport Area in B5. Item:Red Keycard Found:Store Room Laboratory 1F.On one of the shelves. Use:Opens the door to the Pod Landing place in the Laboratory on the thrid floor. Item:Microphone Recorder Found:Pod Landing Place Laboratory on the thrid floor. Use:Use it on teh PC in the laboratory on 2F to open the door with the device on the first floor. Item:Emblem Key(3) Found:Laboratory 1F,female corpse Use:Opens the door to the dust shoot on the first floor. Healing Items ------------- Healing items as always heal your characters.See what you can use to help them get through the game: Green Herb: Heals a bit.Excellent to heal a small injuries. Tablets: Same as the Green Herbs but these are sometimes dropped by zombies after a fight. First Aid Spray: The First Aid Spray is more rare and heals your character completely.Useful especially in boss fights. Files ----- ----- There are many files in this.But unfortunately the only currently available japanese version offers obviously only japanese screentext when reading the files so it's just imposible for me to write them down here.But I will do so as soons as the US/PAL versions get released. IV. Walkthrough of Resident Evil: Dead Aim ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ Ok here is the walkthrough but before we start here are some general tips you should know: 1.YOU CAN RUN.THIS GAME IS PARTLY LIKE A TRADITIONAL RESIDENT EVIL GAME AND IN MANY CASES ESPECIALLY ON HARDER DIFFICULTY YOU SHOULD CONSIDER TO RUN AWAY FROM YOUR ENEMIES INSTEAD OF FIGHTING THEM. 2.TRY MAKING CRITICAL HITS.ONCE AGAIN THE SO CALLED "CRITICAL HIT" IS FEATURED IN A RESIDENT EVIL GAME.THIS TIME YOU HAVE TO SHOOT MANY TIMES AT THE WEAK POINT OF YOUR ENEMIES FOR EXAMPLE 2-3 TIMES A ZOMBIES' HEAD. 3.WATCH OUT FOR HELP IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT.YOU SOMETIMES WILL BE ABLE TO WIPE OUT YOUR ENEMIES BY FIRING AT BARRELS OR OTHER THINGS 4.CONSERVE YOUR AMMO.LIKE ALREADY MENTIONED ABOVE THIS GAME IS PARTLY LIKE A TRADITIONAL RESIDENT EVIL GAME AND AMMO CAN BE SCARCE ON HARDER DIFFICULTY. Walkthrough ----------- ----------- SMALL NOTE:THE CONTENT IS WRITTEN ACCORDING TO THAT ONE OF JAPANESE VERSION.THE UPCOMING US/PAL RELEASES WILL INCLUDE SOME NAME CHANGES SO CHECK BACK FOR A SMALL OVERHAUL OF THIS FAQ. Ok that's it then.You should be familiar with the controls of your Dual Shock Controller or your Light Gun.Like always i recommend the use of the Light Gun which proves to be a lot more comfortable.Anyway when the start menu is prompted you have can choose between LOAD GAME,NEW GAME and OPTIONS.Since we want to start a new game you have to choose "NEW GAME".You can use "LOAD GAME" to load a saved game later on. DIFFICULTY SETTING ------------------ After having chosen the "NEW GAME" option.The screen will offer 3 difficulties: SO SWEET -------- Basically the EASY difficulty.You find a lot of ammo in this game and enemies are a lot easier to kill.Recommended for players new to this type of game or to the series.You start up the game with this equipment: Handgun Handgun Ammo x2 Shotgun Shotgun Shells x28 Tablets x1 First Aid Spray x1 RECOMMEND --------- Basically the NORMAL difficulty.I suggest this difficulty to those who have played Resident Evil games before and to those who have experience with Survivor games or other FPS.This is also what i played the first time and it worked very well for me.Enemies are a bit harder to kill and ammo is more scarce.Your equipment: Handgun Handgun Ammo x2 First Aid Spray x1 EXTREME ------- This is the hardest difficulty.You shoudl only play on this difficulty when you have enough experience with this game.Your qeuipment is pretty low and enemies are a lot harder to kill.You start with: Handgun First Aid Spray x1 NOTE:You can look up the Enemies section for info on the enemies.When boss fights occur I'll comment on that in the walkthrough itself at that point.The Ammo is listed for the SO SWEET difficulty with the RECOMMEND and EXTREME difficultiesnext to it in brackets.That means -> SO SWEET(RECOMMEND,EXTREME).When I haven't found out yet the ammount of ammo in acertain difficulty a "?" will appear.It also can happen that zombies don't drop tablets every time or drop other things instead.Then check back for updates.If there are no brackets next to an item then this applies to all difficulties. And to make things easier i'll make a new headline every time the floors will change.Might be deviant in some cases though.Ok let's start now. SHIP 2F ROOM 104 ---------------- After the opening sequence you'll be in the back of ROOM 104.Go ahead and enter the door.You'll be in the main part of ROOM 104.Turn right and enter the room through the opened door you'll find HANDGUN AMMO(?,-) and a GREEN HERB(?,-).Get out of the room through the remaining door.Turn right and look to the oppoosite side and use the door near the double doors without the card reader.Enter the door you're in ROOM 101 now.Take the SHOTGUN SHELLS x28(?,?) and the GREEN HERB(?,?) and enter the back part of the room through the open door.Examine the corpse at the end of the room and take the SHIP MAP 1F-3F and an EMBLEM KEY.Get back,you'll face a female zombie.Kill her and get back out to the GUEST ROOM I.You can also visit ROOM 102 and get the GREEN HERB(?,?) however the bedroom part seems to offer nothing.Ok in the GUEST ROOM I use the double doors,be careful a zombie will reanimate.You'll open them automatically with you're recently obtained EMBLEM KEY.YOu're in the EAST HALLWAY 2F now,turn left and go ahead.Again some zombies will appear shoot them and use the double doors.You can also use the double doors on the other side.Eitehr way you'll end up in the STAIRS HALL 2F.Go ahead and enter the next double doors.In the VIP HALLWAY you'll have to turn right no and enter the VIP ROOM.Some things to do here now.Grab the YELLOW KEYCARD,zombies will arise shoot them and take the GREEN HERB(?,?) and the TABLETS(?,?).Use the door in the opposite side to leave the room.In the other hallway use the other remaining door to getback to the STAIRS HALL 2F.On your way you'll have to fight many zombies and the stairs hall itself is full of them.You'll find HANDGUN AMMO(?,?) and TABLETS(?,?).Now go back to the GUEST ROOM I.You'll get message "LOAD WITH YOUR CARDRIGE...".That means that the next room contains many enemies and so does this one.I suggest that you run this time to the double doors on the other end of the room but if you stay and fight you'll just get TABLETS x2(?,?).Use the door with your YELLOW KEYCARD.After the cutscene with Bruce and Fongling you'll fidn yourself in the SPIRAL STAIRCASE 2F.Use the stairs and go back down to 1F. SPIRAL STAIRCASE 1F ------------------- Here you'll notice a switchboard when you go towards the double doors.Examine it and it will open up the doors that can be accessed via the spiral staircase on the second floor.Go back up and again and use of the 2 doors to enter the WESTERN HALLWAY.These are actually the 2nd Class Passenger Rooms.ROOM 201 contains a GREEN HERB(?,?)HANDGUN AMMO(?,?) and a FILE.The WESTERN HALLWAY has many zombies try to kill as many as you can because they can really be a pain while investigating the rooms.It's also pretty dark and you nearly can't see them at all.Use the door on the opposite side of ROOM 202 which islocked by the way to get into the UPPER GUEST ROOM 2 since the guste roosm are now divided in 2 parts.Anyway fighting the zombies in there and examining the small space between the ROOMS 205(locked by the way) & 206 will provide you with TABLETS(?,?) and a GREEN HERB(?,?).Enter ROOM 206.Take the GREEN HERB(?,?) the SHOTGUN SHELLS x28(?,?) and the SILENCER HANDGUN.Go back out and turn right and use the door in front of you.Your in the LOUNGE.The first save room in this game.Take the GREEN HERB x2(?,?) and the HANDGUN AMMO x6(?,?) from the weapons storage.This is quite ommon in this game that you'll be provided with much ammo in the save rooms.Anyway save your game and use the other door to get out.the door to ROOM 203 is open get in and grab the ID-CARD.Zombies will arise and it will be difficult to fight so run and get of the only other remaining door to the WESTERN HALLWAY.Get back out to the SPIRAL STAIRCASE 2F and go down the stairs to the SPIRAL STAIRCASE 1F. SPIRAL STAIRCASE 1F(AGAIN) -------------------------- Again examine the switchboard and your ID-CARD will be used to open all the rooms that can be accessed via the spiral staircase on the fisrt floor.From the switchboard turn left and use that door to enter the EASTERN HALLWAY 2.This time we will check the rooms 301-308.In the hallway go ahead and enter the next door.You're in the GUEST ROOM now.Kill all the zombies to get HANDGUN AMMO(?,?) and ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?).Head to the east side of the room and enter the only accessable room ROOM 302.Grab the SEMI-AUTOMATIC HADNGUN from the bed and also the GREEN HERB(?,?).I would recommend the semi-automatic handguna s your standard weapon from now on but be careful not shoot more then there is need to.On your way back out the zombie that seems to have committed suicide has aobviously changed his mind and will drop down and will attack you.Time to test your new gun.Take the TABLETS(?,?) and go back out.Head to the western part of the GUEST ROOM and enter the only accessable door to ROOM 305.Change to to first person view instantly and aim for the zombies head that can be seen.You'll make a critical hit.Take the GREEN HERB(?,?) and the HANDGUN AMMO(?,?) and leave the room.Go back out to the SPIRAL STAIRCASE 1F and enter the other open door.In the WESTERN HALLWAY you turn right and enter the whiet door to teh KITCHEN.The room contains GREEN HERB x2(?,?)and HANDGUN AMMO(?,?).Get into the next room through the only other door.The FREEZING ROOM seems just as dangerous as it seems.Get into the back part of the room and take the ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?) and the ASSAULT RIFLE(SHOTGUN,?).Now all the zombies will arise so quickly run back out take the shotgun and shoot the zombies that stand in front of the door then get out.Back in the WESTERN HALLWAY you can find ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?)(by fighting zombies),HANDGUN AMMO(?,?) and a GREEN HERB(?,?).Use the norther double doors to get out to the POOL DECK.Kill all the zombies that stand in your way since there's much space to evade here.Near the swimming pool you'll find a FIRST AID SPRAY(1,?),SHOTGUN SHELLS x28(?,?),another KEY and after having killed the two zombies on the front part of the deck you'll find a KEY and a FILE.Now head all the way back to the EASTERN HALLWAY and enter the only door that leads to the east part.Use the KEY on the device.The shutter will go up and a door will be set free.Enter the door. STAIRS HALL 1F -------------- Suprise!Surprise!You're back in the STAIRS ROOM 1F now since the doors from above are blocked now.Look at your map and use door on the side.You're in the BAR HALLWAY.Get into teh BAR SEVEBN SEARS.The bar contains a FILE,HANDGUN AMMO(?,?) and a GREEN HERB(?,?).You can use whatever door you want to get in or out but you'll notice that the 2 doors in the center can't be accessed.Look at your map and head to the STORE HOUSE from outside.Surprsingly the STORE HOUSE is open.Very well grab the GREEN HERB(?,?) from teh corner and the HANDGUN AMMO(?,?) from the shelf and also the VALVE HANDLE.On your way out you'll get the chance to shake your hands with another BIG hand.A very bif hand.Even worse Fongling the bad girl appears and claims the Valve Handle for her.Now you have to play her and lead her to the Pool Deck.When you enter the room you'll get prompted with the "LOADED" message.On your way to the bar the door behind you will slam open and zombies will come after you enter the bar.Don't even think about shooting (by the way what happened to Bruce?!?).Shoot the zombies inteh bar if you want you'll get TABLETS(?,?).Get out through the doors of the other side.In the EASTERN HALLWAY use the door to get into the STAIRS HALL 1F.Many zombies will appear.Judge for yourself whether to use the Assault Rifle or the Silenced Handgun.The zombies will drop TABLETS(?,?) and ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?).Use the door on the opposite side just like before.The EASTERN HALLWAY 2 has no enemies.Next door.The GUEST ROOM has many zombies they'll drop ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?).On your way to one of the doors zombies will break out.Again zombis will drop ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?) and the room that is open now willprovide GREEN HERB x2(?,?).Head to the SPIRAL STAIRCASE 1F and use teh other door to get to the POOL DECK.Be careful the zombies can be difficult to come by here.They'll drop TABLETS(?,?).In the WESTERN HALLWAY you'll face 3-4 zombies.Shoot them grab the ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?) and go ahead and enter the door.FOngling will now be on the POOL DECK our target for now.Go to the front and use the VALVE HANDLE on the hole.Bruce will appear in a cutscene and Morheus will have Bruce and Fongling attacked by Hunters.Grab your Shotgun and shoot these things.They're quick and strong.When your shotgun is exhausted you can also use the automatic handgun which also proves ok for these(I said OK not GOOD).Watch teh cutscene afterwards. STORAGE ROOM B1 --------------- Go to the weapons storage and get as always the HANDGUN AMMO x6(?,?).Save your game and use the lift in this room afterwards.Having arrived down go ahead and grab the GREEN HERB(?,?) and then choose one of the doors.Enter the LONG HALLWAYY and watch out for the zombies.Either they'll attack from behind or right from the front.Be careful eitehr way they're dangerous and ANNOYING.You'll get TABLETS x2(?,?) from them.Enter the doors at the end of the hallway.In the next room use the lift on the opposite side of the closed shutter.believe it or not you're in the SPIRAL STAIRCASE.You can also use your KEY(2) to open up the shutter for the spiral staircase.Either way enter the big green door.In the CARGO ROOM go ahead and enter the next room.The CARGO HALLWAY has some zombies and HANDGUN AMMO(?,?).Choose one door and enter the PRESENTATION ROOM.It contains a GRENN HERB(?,?),a FILE and a STEEL PIPE in the front part.With it you can open the boxes in the CARGO ROOM.Anyway after having taken the STEEL PIPE a female Tyrant will jump out of one of the capsules.Run away back to the CARGO ROOM.Check every box with your stellpip until you find the BLUE KEYCARD.This can be really annoying since the Tyrant will enter after after certain period of time.You could try to get out and re-enter the room to get you some time for the tyrant.Anyway having found the BLUE KEYCARD go out to the SPIRAL STAIRCASE B1 and use the keycard on the door witrh the device.A cutscene will follow.Now you control Fongling again.Go down the stairs and this time i suggest again that you run.You should find a device on the east side.Push the button and go back up the stairs.Use the device to open up the door and to save Bruce once again. SHIP CREW ROOM B1 ----------------- Back in control of Bruce you can now examine the SHIP CREW ROOMS.ROOM 003 contains a zombie and SHOTGUN SHELLS x28(?,?).ROOM 006 has anotehr zombie and GREEN HERB x2(?,?).Be careful when collecting the SHOTGUN SHELLS x28(?,?) in the open ROOM 008.Zombies will come after you when leaving the room.Then look at your map and head to the SPIRAL STAIRCASE B1.Head to the CARGO ROOM and then to the CARGO HALLWAY.Watch out for the hunter that is in the CARGO ROOM.I sugegstthat you run this time again.A cutscene will show that the MONITOR ROOM is now unlocked.Get in.Grab the FIRST AID SPRAY(?,?),FILE,EMBLEM KEY(2) and like always the HANDGUN AMMO x6(?,?) from the weapons storage.Go back out and get into the PRESENTATION ROOM.Kill the zombies and take the TABLETS(?,?).Use teh device to open the big shutter that is situated above the stairs.I know it you know it we're back in the STAIRS HALL 2F.Look at the map and use the door to the BAR HALLWAY.Get into the bar through one of the 2 doors and kill the zombies to get TABLETS(?,?).Use the EMBLEM KEY to get into the STAIRS ROOM 1F.Go up the stairs and leave the room through the only open door to get into the CAPTAINS HALLWAY.Some zombies will appear again.Shoot them,take the TABLETS(?,?)and enter the first door left to the CAPTAINS ROOM.Take the book from the desk which is a FILE and the captain will appear.He's already a zombie so shoot him.He's much stronger than other zombies so watch out for him he'll reanimate for at least 2-3 times.After defeating him he'll drop MAGNUM BULLETS x14(?,?).The captains BED ROOM contains the MAGNUM(MAGNUM,?),GREEN HERB(?,?) and again MAGNUM BULLETS x14(?,?).The BATHROOM has a zombie falling from the ceiling (cool isn't it?) and a GREEN HERB(?,?).Get out through the door in front of the desk.the second STAIRS ROOM 2F features the only stairs leading up the third floor.Moving forward a zombie will drop down and another awaits you around the corner.Kill them and take the TABLETS(?,?),Go up the stairs kill the zombie and take the ASSAULT RIFLE BULLETS(?,?).The room also holds another GREEN HERB(?,?).Leave the STAIRS ROOM 3F and enter the BRIDGE. BRIDGE 3F --------- ALERT!You'll meet Fongling.The cutscene wills how that you're about to crash into something.Zombies invade the room.Fongling gets out and Bruce is left alone.Shoot the zombie sinf ront of you with the shotgun then run forward to a corner and shott the others.Grab the SHOTGUN SHELLS X28 x2(?,?) and the TABLETS(?,?) from the zombies.Watch out for the Time-Limit and get out of the room through the only open door.And here we have it our first BOSS FIGHT.THE TYRANT-091.He'll attack Fongling and now it's up to you to show him your guts. BOSS FIGHT:TYRANT-091 --------------------- Shoot at him as long he's about to come to you.Then when he's about to jump run away but be careful don't screw yourself up in the corners.He also can hit you with his big hands REALLY BIG HANDS.Evade him when you see that he's jumping then fire with your Magnum,Shotgun or Assault Rifle.When he's wounded run away and start shooting with whatever you got.Repeatthe evading emthod over and over again and he'll soon fall though he's a bit annoying he's not that difficult to beat. The heliport also holds HANDGUN AMMO x2(?,?).After the cutscene Bruce will be alone again in the SEWER SYSTEM. SEWER SYSTEM ENTRANCE B1 ------------------------ Leave through the door to the PASSAGE.Take the SEWER MAP and enter the STORE ROOM.Take the FILE and the other FILE and the GREEN HERB x2(?,?).And the weapons storage will once again provide you with HANDGUN AMMO x6(?,?).Save your game and go backout.Turn right and go ahead the PASSAGE.In the end you'll see that there's blocked door and also the GRENADE LAUNCHER(?,?) and some SHOTGUN SHELLS x28(?,?).Turn around and enter ther door.Your in the sewer system water HALLWAYS.Go down the stairs and go ehad then turn right and use the next stairs to get out of teh water and to reachthe other PASSAGE.Befor entering take the ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?) from the ground.In the PASSAGE turn left and go ahead the hallway.Some zombie swill await you.Shoot them and take the TABLETS(?,?) from them,then get out through the next door.In the next water HALLWAY you'll face a new enemiy,the so called Torpedo Kids which are fired by a bigger so called Nautilus.But don't waste your time on these it doesn't seem that you can do them any harm.Go down the stairs and the water HALLWAY,turn left and go up the small stairs in front of you to enter the other PASSAGE.Some zombie will arise,be careful these naked zombies are quick!Shoot them and take the TABLETS(?,?) and the ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?).Go out through the next door.Again in the water HALLWAY take the GRENADE ROUNDS(?,?) and go down the stairs.From the stairs turn around and go ahead until you reach the LIFT.Use it and go up.In the CONTROL ROOM investigate the radio equipment and watch the cutscene. SEWER SYSTEM PASSAGE B2 ----------------------- Wow.Seems Fongling just had a small shock since she just encountered the Pluto.Lucky she is since this big fat thing can't see...at least not yet.Go ahead and turn right.Take the MAP,the ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?) and the GREEN HERB(?,?).Go out through the door and don't try to follow the Pluto.Fongling will simply refuse.In the water HALLWAY go down the stairs and head to the PASSAGE by goign down and then turning left.Take a look at your mape if can't find.Kill the zombies that stand in your way and go up the samll stairs.Check the corpse and take the CONTROL ROOM KEY.Now go where you just cam efrom and go up the CONTROL ROOM.Take the ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?) and use the equipment to open the door to the PASSAGE you just came from.That means go out and ONCE AGAIN go all teh way back where you cam from to the corpse where you found the key.Ony our way back teh zombies will arise.My suggestion go down the stairs and go back up.Now you can shoot them without being anxious because they simply wont go up the stairs.Back in the just opened PASSAGE simply go and enter the next door,nothing to get here.In the water HALLWAY again,take the HANDGUN AMMO(?,?) and go down the stairs.Well...i know it and you might suspect it...many zombies.I suggest again that you run but you can also play a bit with your Assault Rifel if you want.Go ahead until you reach the stairs to the LIFT.On your way you can stop at the stairs and can take teh FIRST AID SPRAY(?,?).Go down the lift and enter the door to the heliport area. Heliport Area B3 ---------------- Right after the cutscene you once again play as Bruce.Turn right enter the gry door to the STORE ROOM.You're save now a save room!!This room contains many items.A FILE and yet another FILE,HANDGUN AMMO x6(?,?) like usual,GRENADE ROUNDS(?,?) and a FIRST AID SPRAY(?,?).Save your game and go back out.You're in ROOM 03-06.Go ahead turn right and then left and enter the door.On your way kill the zombies(if you want) and take the TABLETS(?,?).In the next room againkill the zombies take the GRENADE ROUNDS(?,?) the drop and enter the next door to ROOM 03-12.Be careful here.Head to the lift and go dwon.On your way you'll face the so called Glimemrs for the first time.You can either run past them or shoot them with your Grenade Launcher.Either way go down the lift.In B4 kill the Glimmer and enter the next room through door on the left.In the next room turn right kill the zombie take the GREEN HERB(?,?) and enter the door.Go ahead and turn right and head to the lift.Watch out for the burning zombies again.Go down the lift and take the BLUE KEAYCARD(2),a FILE and the MAGNUM BULLETS(?,?).Back up in B4 go ahead and turn right and go ahead to enter ROOM 04-25.This room again has some of our Glimemr friends but too many to fight run past forward turn right and then left and go down the lift.Ok we're in B5 now.ROOM 05-13 again has a Glimmer.Ignore it and enter ROOM 05-19.Shoot the zombies if you want go ahead just until you reach the wall and take a FIRST AID SPRAY(?,?).If you want you can enter ROOM 05-08 to get the SHOTGUN SHELLS x2(?,?) in the ned of the room.But be careful when walking past the fire zombies will come after you.But either way you have to enter ROOM 05-20 through the other door.If you o just ahead you'll find a GREEN HERB(?,?) or just turn right to enter the ELEVATOR ROOM.Your collected keycard will finally come in handy.The ELEVATOR ROOM holds up HANDGUN AMMOx8 but that shouldn't just please you since you know have to fight the Pluto.Try to use the elevator by pushing the button and watch the cutscene. BOSS FIGHT:PLUTO ---------------- While having strong attacks the pluto also is pretty quick.Arm your Magnum and fire while it runs towards you.That said you just can't stand a chance by ruuning away from him.When he hits you stay in front of hima nd shoot his head as much as you can.Especially on easier difficulty he'll fall soon. Like already said the room holds HANDGUN AMMO x8. Laboratory Level 3-B 3F ----------------------- Having beaten the Pluto.You again play as Fongling.Go ahead and enter the next door.Well save your game since it is a SAVE ROOM.The weapons storage again contains HANDGUN AMMO x6(?,?).Go back out to the LEVEL 3-B.Go ahead until you reach the end of the hallway and turn left.Run past all the seemingly dead zombies and past the DOUBLE DOORS until you reach the end of the hallway with yet another door.Examine it.It's locked go back and use the open hole near the DOUBLE DOORS to go down.Down in the DUST SHOOT turn right and use the only open door.In the POWER SUPPLY ROOM examine the computer and watch out for the zombie that reanimates.Either kill him or just go back out.Back out use the elevator that was locked before to go down to B1.Go ahead the hallway and enter the next door.Watch the cutscene.You again wake up as Bruce searching for Fongling in a HALLWAY.Move slowly forward whiel wathcing out for the hunter.Kill him and turn right to take the GREEN HERB x2(?,?).Enter the door to the STORE ROOM that is behind you kill the zombies and get all the stuff that is in this room.This includes a FILE,MAP,HANDGUN AMMO x2,SHOTGUN AMMO(?,?) and a RED KEYCARD.The zombies will also drop TABLETS(?,?).Go back out and use the elavator to gp up to 2F.On the second floor turn right and head to the 2B-01room (whatever this is sopposed to be).Take the FILE and go back out.Look into your map and go to the rooms that are exactly on the opposite side of the area and enter the left one.In the 2D-02 room grab teh FILE from the desk and go back to the elevator.Use the elevator and go up to 3F.On the third fllor the zombies that you've faced earlier as Fongling have already reanimated and will come after you.Just shoot them with your shotgun a few times and look for a safe corner to shoot the rest.They'll drop TABLETS x2(?,?) and MAGNUM BULLETS(?,?).Go to the end of the HALLWAY and use your RED KEYCARD to enter the previously locked door.The POD LANDING PLACE contains a FIRST AID SPRAY and even more important the MICROPHONE RECORDER you need.Now you have to get down back to teh second floor.But before you go back down I'd suggest that you go the STORE ROOM on that floor and save your game again.Either way go back down to 2F and go the 2D-01 and 2D-02 rooms and this time enter the right door to the 2D-01 room.Shoot the zombie and use the MICROPHONE REDORDER on the computer.Get out and go back to the elevator.Be careful as you slowly walk.Some zombies and hunters will attack you.You can try to evade them on higher difficulties but on easier difficulties I'd suggest that you just kill them each with a shot from your magnum.Use the elevator and go down to the first floor.Use the MICROPHONE RECORDER on that door with the device.In the CLEAN ROOM you'll find nothing but chemcial suits.One appears to be a zobie kill him and get the TABLETS(?,?) he drops.This room contains nothing else for players on easier difficulties but you're going to find the ASSUALT RIFLE on normal since you already have it from the start when you play the game one easy.Finished here enter the next room.Pretty loud in this HALLWAY.Choose right or left either of the SMALL HALLWAYS contain a zombie and eitehr way you have to go to the PLANT so it doesn't mater which route you take.If you choose right run past the bees and the LABORATORY and enter the PLANT or if you take the other way run past the ANALYZE ROOM door and enter the PLANT.Turn right and head for the door a cutscenen will flow in. BOSS FIGHT:QUEEN&HALBERT ------------------------ The Queen might be everything but not hard.Just take out your grenade launcher and shoot it.The magnum also does a good job.It'll fall really soon.The only thing that can be annoying is the small harbert enemies she sends out but these are also just a small bother. Laboratory 1F ------------- After the Queen is beaten enter the room you intended to enter before,the LABORATORY.Take the FILE from one of the desks and grab the CHARGED PARTICLE RIFLE a weapon that will come in handy later on.As you take it the locked zombies will come after you shootthem as they're wuick.They'll of course cause the door to open so that you can get the EMBLEM KEY from the dead corpse.Now get back all the way to the elevator but don't use it.Use the EMBLEMKEY to enter the door to the DUST SHOOT instead.The DUST SHOOT of course is one of the rooms you've entered as Fongling before so you're familiar with this area.Just as enter the other elevator as you did with Fongling.Down in the HALLWAY on B1 again go ahead and enter the next door.This time as Bruce in the OBSERVATION ROOM take the FILE from the chair and have it sliding to the front the get access to the pad that lies underneath.Use it and a cutscene will flow in.After this one a part of the wall behind you will go up and this will give you access to another elevator.Use it and go down to B2 to the last STORE ROOM and also the last SAVE ROOM.The weapons storage for a last time holds HANDGUN AMMO x6(?,?) for you and the room als contains a FIRST AID SPRAY(?,?),GREEN HERB(?,?),SHOTGUN SHELLS(?,?),MAGNUM BULLETS(?,?),ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?) and GRENADES(?,?).Pretty much stuff isn't it?But you wont need that for now.Equip the Charged Particle Rifle and enter the next room the ENGINE ROOM.Watch the cutscene. BOSS FIGHT:MORPHEUS ------------------- Morpheus is quick and deadly.He's very difficult to hit.It sometimes can become a try and error like rocess but it'll work.Morpheus will sometimes just stand still and start loading himsels run away and wait until he unleashes his thunder-like attacks.See you don't get stuck in acorner because it happen that he'll attack you for 4-5 times without breaks.Heal yourself when necessary and keep shooting at him since your gun loads over and over again.Difficult fight but still not s hard as what is about to follow.... Hallway B2 ---------- No we're not finished yet with this game.You'll get a 5 minutes time limit (so be assured that your game will be over in 5 minutes ;).Fongling will navigate you through the hallways.Sojust go ahead and enter the next room while noticing that Morpheus,the "New" Morpheus is coming after you.This the first tricky ENGINE HALLWAY.Fongling will tell you where to go but the route is LEFT,RIGHT,LEFT,RIGHT.Eitehr way you can look that up at the map sdection.You should avoid the zombies to save you some time but if you search aroudn you'll find HANDGUN AMMO x2 and GREEN HERB(?,?).As Fongling navigates you through enter the next HALLWAY through the door you have been navigated to.In the 2 HALLWAY go again ahead and try to enter the next door.It'll be locked and Fongling will need some time get their acts together for you.So You'll have to fight the approximating Morpheus. BOSS ENCOUNTER 1:MORPHEUS ------------------------- This can be hard.Just shoot his head wherever it appears to be so will step back every time you'll hit him.But don't just shoot like a crazy madman.Try to find a rythym and shoot him only when his head pops out.I'd suggest the magnum for this job.If this isn't available use your Assault Rifle butthis one only for long distances and your Shotgun for shorter ones.Shoot as he comes towards you and always listen to Fongling when she says she's finished.Then turn aroudn and enter the next door. Engine Hallway 2 B2 ------------------- The second and last tricky room in this area.Again avoid the zombies but this time you can get great stuff if you look for it.The room holds HANDGUN AMMO x2(?,?),FIRST AID SPRAY(?,?),MAGNUM BULLETS(?,?) and ASSAULT RIFLE AMMO(?,?) in the corners.Either way the correct way to the door is RIGHT,RIGHT,RIGHT and LEFT.Enter the door to the last HALLWAY.Go again ahead until you reach the next locked door.For a last time you'll have to face Morpheus.Prepare for a hard fight. BOSS ENCOUNTER 2:MORPHEUS(AGAIN) -------------------------------- Well this can be easily considered as the hardest fight in the game.He'll approach quickier and wil resist to much more bullets than before.Shoot him just like you did it the first time.If you get it right he'll start jumping.Then shoot him once again to end this fight. After this fight some cutscenes will accour.Watch them and see your ranking. You've successfully cleared the game!Congratulations! GAME RANKINGS ------------- To come....
