Capcom Classics Collection review

AT A GLANCE
  • Great price
  • Old school goodness
  • Doesn't eat quarters
  • Missing some classics
  • Some games don't play well
  • Really, really hard
The second thing you notice is that the games in this formidable roster, all play almost perfectly. Street Fighter ultra-purists might notice a few slight differences, and some games don't play ideally with a modern console controller (Forgotten Worlds, for example), but overall, this is an admirably faithful recreation.

It's about this time that the third thought hammers on your skull. As great as this lineup of games is, it’s missing some good stuff: Strider, The Punisher, and Last Duel, for instance.

Here's the complete roster of games you will find in Capcom Classics Collection:

1942
1943
1943 Kai
Street Fighter II
Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting
Street Fighter II Champion Edition
Ghosts N Goblins
Ghouls N Ghosts

Pirate Ship Higemaru
Vulgus
Commando
Mercs
Gun.Smoke
Section Z
Bionic Commando
Forgotten Worlds
Legendary Wings
