World of Warcraft developers Blizzard could well be returning to their real-time-strategy roots for its next project as the team is currently looking for level designers with experience in RTS development.
The job posting appeared on the Blizzard website which stated the company is looking for someone with 'experience building levels using any popular 3D Real-Time Strategy game toolset'.
If the team is thinking about developing an RTS, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise as it was in that genre that the studio established its reputation, with such hits as Starcraft, Warcraft II and Warcraft III.
Blizzard has not yet released an official statement on any new projects and Warcraft's publisher Vivendi had nothing to add when we contacted them earlier today.
