BioWare's next project gets frustratingly short, 5-second teaser

A miniscule sneak peak at Bioware's next big project has hit the interwebs, teasing gamers with a few odd seconds of what can at least be described as... "not Mass Effect 3, right?"

There's not much to work with in the promo, but the full reveal is said to take place during Spike TV's Video Game Awards on December 11th, where it will be joined by a special presentation of Batman Arkham City. This leaves the gaming community about three weeks to do what it does best – speculate!

So what's your guess: An action-RPG war game? A Silent Scope reboot? A super-futuristic Dragon Age? Whatever it is, initial impressions are fairly... generic. Granted, BioWare's record is nearly spotless, so here's hoping it doesn't squander its talents on a Tom Clancy clone.

See? Speculation – all the cool kids are doing it! And there's more: BioWare has continued to drop hintson Twitter.
