whats up with that crisis core screenshot? did you mod the game or something? I can say that a lot of the best games on the PSP were Square games, shame they can't do that with the home consoles.

I got a PSP late in its life (2 years ago...guess it was alread dead by then!) but I've enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Not a huge library (compared to the DS) but as this list shows, it had a lot of good games. Being able to play some PSOne classics was a definite plus as well. Here's to the only handheld game to give Nintendo any real competition!

Ahh the PSP, the only handheld Sony ever made and it was damn good. Whats a Vita, do you mean shit I pretend doesn't exist and regret buying.

If only Valkyria Chronicles 3 ever got out of Japan...

To me, Resistance Retribution and Patapon were the killer apps for the PSP. If anyone was getting one, those were always the two games I'd recommend. I'd also recommend Mercury Meltdown and but Thrillville games, but the two former games are the games everyone NEEDS to play.

Sorry if I sound like a douche, but wasn't it Naked Snake in Peace Walker, not Solid?

Great list. Square Enix was basically the only reason I bought a PSP, but I also really loved Chains of Olympus, Peace Walker, Alpha3 Max, and the Dragon Ball Z Tag-Team game.
