    The Old Republic is a fully voiced, story based RPG with multiple KOTOR level storylines which you can play through in their entirety for free.

    No Blacklight: Retribution? They've packed retarded amounts of content into the game since release, the customization is damn near endless, and the graphics are pretty stunning for a free game o.o

    I enjoy playing Aion myself and it's 100% free.I am also looking forward to Neverwinter after playing the Beta.

    while not truly free-to-play, eve online is worth taking note of. Its a full fat mmorpg but also unlike any other in the genre. Amazingly deep with its player driven economy and single shard truly persistent world where actions have repercussions and the players control the world, unlike other mmorpgs eve is not a "theme park" game. It is also now free to play if you can earn enough isk per month (game currency) to buy game time which at time of writing is about 600mil although this usually takes a few months of playing/paying it can and has been done with new characters from their 1st month of play especially if you have friends that can give you a little seed money and adivce to get you going.

    I found Eve players to be not too welcoming to newbees.Actually,pretty much assholes.I lost interest after about a day.

    Sorry but I'm pretty sure Rise of the Hutt Cartel (SWTOR's first expansion) hasn't gone out yet...

    No Vindictus? that makes me sad, very sad

    Planetside is confusing. World of Tanks rocks, LOTRO is visually uninspiring, TF2 rocks. You forgot Mech Warrior online.

    In Planetside, I just spawn in a battle-heavy area and gun down mofos like a boss.

    Is Terra any good??

    My friends and I got pretty hooked on a game on Steam called Spiral Knights. I'd highly recommend it.

    A game I've gotten into recently is Star Conflict. Its free to play and on steam, Its kind of like World of Tanks but in space.

    Team Fortress 2 is a good game, and rightfully so. If you've never played it before, you've got tons of game modes and weapons to try out, and the modding scene is reasonably big as well - notably Mecha the Slag's servers will give quite the varied experience. Also, it's one of the few games (if not the only game, don't know exactly) that works on Mac and Linux as well.

    I've been liking PoE whenever I get the chance to play.

    Y'know what? Even though you have to pay for a copy of the game, I'd still recommend Guild Wars 2 when it drops to around 40 bucks. Beautiful to look at, rewards you for exploring, actual ACTIVE combat, no resource griefing or ganking. And World vs. World, where 3 servers battle against each other, and the victor gets XP boosts for everyone in that server! Yeah, the recommendation pretty much shits all over this list. But dammit, it's awesome!

    AirMech is an amazing game that has an awe inspiring experience each game you play. There are many game styles and build orders, strategies, and each and every one is a completely new experience. AirMech, in most players opinions, is a mixture of Dota and Command and Conquer, and both are easily seen. AirMech is also a remake of the old SEGA game Herzog Zwei, a game where the AI's were much harder. This is an amazing game that everyone should try out at least once and the small community could use a real boost.

    I know Nexon kind of sucks, but I still got a lot of enjoyment out of Dragon Nest and Vindictus in particular. I also had fun with Rusty Hearts, although Vindictus' unforgiving grind ended up hooking me the most ^^;;

    I Tried wow a few times. First time was a few years back and I couldn't get more then a few missions in because i was competing with around fifty or so people to kill one boss. I tried it again more recently and got bored within a few hours it was just so damn repetitive with so little skills early on. Can someone explain what makes it so great?

    I've been playing SWTOR for a couple weeks now and have enjoyed it quite a bit.
