Training to become a Witcher is no joke: Candidates begin brutal schooling during childhood, enduring challenges that permanently alter their bodies for the purpose of conquering supernatural foes. Within this journey is the Trial of the Grasses, a grueling test that leads a third of its participants to their graves. Those that survive are rewarded with medallions similar to the one above; a symbol of the school they hail from and the profession they claim.
These admittedly look great, but if you're unwilling to risk death for a wardrobe upgrade, the series' official store offers a safer alternative. These magnesium-alloy replicas represent the Wolf School, the alma mater of series protagonist Geralt of Rivia, which means gaining recognition separately from your all-star colleague might be tricky. The medallion is 2" by 1.75" and ships with a 30" chain for $29.99.
Sure, everyone will know you're a sham with the lack of cat-like pupils and all, but at least you'll be alive.
