Blizzard Entertainment to begin integrating Battle.net with Facebook starting with StarCraft II

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that they will be integrating their Battle.net gaming platform with Facebook. Details on the new Facebook features that will be available after the integration is implemented are sparse at the moment. For now, all we know is that players will be able to add their Facebook friends to their Battle.net friends list – and that testing for the integration will begin with the ongoing multiplayer beta for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. The Battle.net/Facebook integration is expected to be ready when StarCraft II ships on July 27, 2010.

SC2 forums aren't too happy.. complaints of no LAN support, no open chat channels and no games with friends abroad on SC2.. but Facebook is important? :/
