Batman: Arkham City Riddler guide

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #11

Use your line launcher to get to the trophy without touching the electrified ground. Use the button near the trophy to turn the electricity off, allowing for a painless escape.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #12

This is the elusive trophy. Get on a high part of the roof of the steel mill and face south. There is a hole in the side of the prison wall. You’re going to need to do a dive bomb then pull up in order to make the distance.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #13

You need to dive bomb from the steel mill roof and pull up just before entering the cage in the water. Make sure to keep your dive close to the cage entrance or you’ll overshoot it when you pull up.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #14

On this balcony at the eastern most part of the Steel Mill.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #15

You’ll notice the Riddler switch is facing the direction opposite its cage. Throw a remote control batarang to hit the switch, which will give you plenty of time to grab the trophy seeing as you’re already standing right next to it.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #16

Zap the train engine with a remote electrical charge. This will move it forward and position it right underneath a structural weakness. Stand on the engine and use your explosive gel, then use your batclaw to take the trophy off the ceiling.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #17

You can punch (or flying kick ‘cause it’s cooler) right through this soft wood panelling to reach the trophy on the other side.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #18

At ground level look for this flaming trash can. The wall next to it is a structural weakness. Use your explosive gel.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #19

Hack the device next to the trophy cage with your cryptographic sequencer.

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT - RIDDLER TROPHY #20

There is some soft wood panelling on the side of this skinny building that you can glide through but be careful; there is a panel on the wall opposite the weak wood that you need to touch before hitting the ground (which is covered in red panels). The only way to do this is by pulling off a dive bomb & pull up combo. As soon as you touch the panel on the wall, make sure to push off and glide again.

Did anyone else have an issue with #14? When I walk up to the vent it doesn't give me and option to open it and the batclaw won't work either.

Anyone any tips on no 19 with the six ? Under the bridge, it's my last one and struggling like mad with it!

Buddy, you'llhave to use the LT button to throw 3 batrangs each side as faster as you can. You will throw and turn on the 3 interrogation points on the left and you'll have 2 seconds to do the same on the right. I've tried and works.

Amusement Mile Riddle Trophy #7: Easier to bomb the lower 3 and stand on the roof of the opposite building looking down. You have clear line of sight for all three and can knock out the top ?s with no hassle.

#22? I'm in the process of collecting the trophies and riddles. Has anyone found the meaning of the radio #207/595?

I used catwoman to collect her trophy and the green one, for number 22, which was weird. Very weird she collected the green one.

I have everything except the physical challenge "achieve a x5 variation bonus in one combat encounter". I'm not sure how i'm supposed to do this one. I fight and fight but I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to to be doing. The challenge says my best has been 4. Any help would be awesome. This is the very last challenge I have.

It means using different quickfire gadgets in the same fight
  • zoroforall - October 9, 2013 9:32 a.m.

    the same here :(

A 5x variation bonus mean you have to beat up a group of thugs by using different techniques. Such as explosive gel, remote electrical charge, batarang, freeze blast, and the disruptor. I suggest using the gadgets in quickfire mode so you're not busy pressing mutiple buttons while thugs are hitting you. Hope that helps. :)

My previous comment meant to say Line Launcher. Oh, and for number 12 in the industrial district I used the Line Launcher and smart aiming.
  • greenarrow1988 - August 2, 2013 12:54 a.m.

Riddler Trophy 13 is actually super easy. All you need is the ice blast thingy (It's name escapes me at 3:53 AM) and the Grapnel.

Riddle trophy #28 in the industrial district: You do not need to detonate the mines. There is a path through the cage to the right, then take a left...if you're careful and pay attention, the mines will not detonate.

When i try and solve AMUSEMENT MILE - RIDDLE SOLUTION #8 - “Look out! Can you see where the madness began?”, it allways says "Subject to Small" Any ideas?
