Assault Heroes review

  • Intense action
  • Above-average graphics
  • Great co-op play
  • A tad on the short side
  • Only three weapons to choose from
  • Needs more screen-filling bosses

Assault Heroes isn't the longest or prettiest game around, though it does have some really nice graphics in spots – particularly near the end of the game when you're storming a mountain fortress during a thunderstorm. But it is a solid shooter, and comes complete with three different difficulty levels and both single-system and online co-op play. It's definitely worth the $10 price of admission.
