Horse-drawn carriages are surprisingly sturdy in the Victorian London of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, mowing down lamp posts and passers-by without missing a canter. Even if it's a little unrealistic, it's probably for the best - otherwise this extended gameplay session would have more fatal traffic accidents than aerial assassinations.
You can rest assured that it's a live demonstration, since it starts off with the main characters all inexplicably silent (the actual game starts about two minutes in, if you're impatient). But it shapes up from there, showing off Syndicate's new tweaks to the Assassin formula gameplay, such as expanded unarmed combat, the aforementioned carriage shenanigans, and the rope launcher, which works like a cross between a zipline and the grapnel gun in Batman: Arkham Knight.
