The counter-revolution will be televised in Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington, and we have new screenshots and a schedule to prove it. The three-piece series depicting an alternate American history seized by a power-hungry George Washington will begin on February 19 with The Infamy, continue on March 19 with The Betrayal, and conclude on April 23 with The Redemption.

In the screenshots above, we can see Ratohnhaké:ton hanging out with some wolf bros, sneaking up on a revolutionary soldier, and... Turning invisible before stabbing him?

Wait, so Connor would've become some kind of wizard if he never joined the Assassin Order? Sorry Assassins, magic beats wrist blades every time.

The DLC will release simultaneously across PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 for $10 apiece or as part of the $30 season pass. A Wii U release is planned for an unspecified point in the future.

This is pretty cool. It's already alternate history fiction, so why not add in some other things like magic or whatever. Maybe his stuff is all from Pieces of Eden, like the bulletproof dealy after the Peg Leg missions. I dunno, I'm not a game designer. I can't help but wonder if the author of this story has a vested interest, what with them sharing the same name. :p

I wouldn't be surprised if its better than the actual game.

Honestly, after playing through the game, I wouldn't feel too bad about giving George a stern stabbing.

They were taking some screenshots but invariably everyone of them was full of glitches. After about 300 attempts they just shrugged and said, "Lets just include the ones where conner is invisible but there's nothing else going wrong so it looks like we meant to do it".

I am shocked that this isn't out yet, they have been teasing this DLC for what like 4 months?
  • Hawkman21 - February 6, 2013 3:57 p.m.

And how are they going to explain the fact that he's definitely invisible there?
  • Z-man427 - February 6, 2013 5:20 p.m.

Ratonhaké:ton has 3 new abilities 1: The Power of The Bear: Like a rage mode where he deals more damage 2: The Power of The Eagle: Can pass over larger gaps than he can by jumping 3: The Power of The Wolf: Turns invisible "to become the ultimate predator". These come from the different pieces of his clothing and likely some sort of PoE influence. It doesn't seem THAT ridiculous since if you do all the Peg leg missions in the main game, you become essentially bulletproof from a PoE. Still, I need to see how it unfolds in the story.
