Sony really needed to come out swinging at its press conference to prove that the PS Vita is a must have handheld, and they made a big impact early on. That was when Jack Trenton officially unveiled Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. The fully formed companion game to the console ACIII, it’s an entirely new story that takes place in New Orleans and stars the series’ first ever female hero.

Planned for release the same day as the console version of Assassin’s Creed III, Liberation will communicate with the PS3 version, offering various unlocks. Additionally, Liberation will be released alongside a new white PS Vita bundle that will include a 4GB memory card and the game. Liberation comes out October 30, more as it develops.

This is made by Ubisoft guys. Anyways I'm worried that this cross game thing is going to turn into 100 dollar per game purchases if you want the ability to play on both systems. But this as a new game offers an interested deviation from the story Desmond isn't exactly black so do we have a new future hero along the past.

They are two different and independent stories so of course I am going to buy both. It is about time we get a break from desmond.

This is a nice addition but I expected more from 2k on regards to the bioshock vita title.

I didn't really expect anything to be announced. 2K is brobably still focused on Bioshock Inifinite
