Sony really needed to come out swinging at its press conference to prove that the PS Vita is a must have handheld, and they made a big impact early on. That was when Jack Trenton officially unveiled Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. The fully formed companion game to the console ACIII, it’s an entirely new story that takes place in New Orleans and stars the series’ first ever female hero.
Planned for release the same day as the console version of Assassin’s Creed III, Liberation will communicate with the PS3 version, offering various unlocks. Additionally, Liberation will be released alongside a new white PS Vita bundle that will include a 4GB memory card and the game. Liberation comes out October 30, more as it develops.
