Assassin's Creed II: Glyphs and statuettes guide

Venice

Glyph locations:

1. Gilda dei Ladri di Venezia: Climb up to the rooftop over the guild’s main archway, just to the right of Antonio’s door, and look left.

2. San Giacomo di Rialto: Climb up onto the rooftop from the south face of the church; the Glyph is nestled in between the bell tower and the dome.

3. Ponte di Rialto: For this one, you’re going to have to swim. Paddle underneath the bridge and swim over to its east side; there’s a big spider waiting there for you.

4. Scuola Grande di San Marco: Climb up the south face of the Scuola (that’s the building to the north, not the one immediately to its east) and duck around behind the decorative arch at the south end of its roof.

Actually, that’s kind of hard to see, so you should probably hunt with Eagle Vision turned on.

Above: Much better

5. Torre Dell'Orologio: This one’s pretty easy, but it’s also easy to miss. Just climb up to the platform on the roof of the Torre, right over the clock. Be warned, though – like the Scuola Grande, this Glyph is almost impossible to see with the naked eye.

So look for it with Eagle Vision:

6. Campanile di San Marco: Just climb to the top of the tower and stop off at the little chamber on top. The pentagram on the floor is your Glyph.

7. San Pietro di Castello: Just clamber up the east side of the cathedral at the point shown on the map below; the Glyph is just underneath the eaves of the roof.

Puzzle 15 seems to have some errors. This solution works: Ring 5-right five Ring 3-right two Ring 4-right five Ring 2-left five Ring 1-left one

does anyone know where the final glyph is, cuz i have all of them except the last one....

The glyphs don't go in any specific order, if you haven't completed the game, it could be in a area that hasn't been unlocked, same goes for the feathers. But just go on the maps on your PC or laptop, take a screen shot of each one, go back and check each place, and mark them off until you find the last one

I thought this weird when i was looking through your glyphs. I found one more in Tuscany at the Villa Auditore.

Never mind i was looking in the wrong place. my bad. Avamposto Veneziano: This one’s tricky, because the location at which your database pops up to let you know there’s a glyph nearby is nowhere near its actual location. To find this one, you’ll need to head to the lighthouse at Romagna’s northeastern tip. Once there, clamber up onto its northeast face to find the Glyph. sorry about that. :P. (could of sword i already found this glyph at the correct location that's why i was question's the guide..)

I think you guys missed one in Romagna/Forli. The Avamposto Veneziano apparently has a glyph on it but you don't show it on your guide. I .ave assassin's creed 2 for xbox360 (maybe this guide was for ps3?). I have looked everywhere for the glyph but i can't hear it or find it (glyphs make a sparkling noise when you're close enough to them (just like treasure chest). Some help on it's location would be nice. Thank you, Alex

These guides helped a lot. except puzzle 17: the bunker was wrong. i spent hours tryin to figure it out and your clues are actually "4" and "<" not "2". other than that they helped a shitload.

Opps Im so sorry, it was diana I found on the table, not apollo
  • GirPanda91 - February 17, 2011 1:23 a.m.

Oh my god I love this guide. But I will say this, your method of finding the statues is easier then hunting them everywhere else. I think they have multiple places you can find each statue because I found Apollo on the gaurds table in one one of the assassins tombs. I can remember which one it was though once I remember I will comment again but it is way easier finding them in once city.
