Dwayne’s Johnson’s hockey-playing tough guy in Fox’s comedy The Tooth Fairy is getting himself a lady-shaped love.
Ashley Judd has just agreed to join the cast of the film, according to Variety . She’ll play Johnson’s other half, a single mother with two kids.
There’s not much in the way of plot information, but we do know it focuses on Johnson’s rough-and-tumble player (who has the titular nickname thanks to his habit of knocking them out of opponents’ mouths pressed into helping to save a magical kingdom of tooth-grabbing imps.
Michael Lembeck (who knows about ordinary men in fantastical situations after directing two Santa Clause films) will start shooting in October.
