Lionsgate is gearing up the marketing machine for this year’s apocalyptic young adult spectacle, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. If all that punctuation hasn’t addled your brains then catch a glimpse at the anti-establishment spot of artwork that’s cropped up online. The second official poster zeroes in on the fight against the Capitol and the resistance.
Much like the first one sheet signified Katniss’ battle by roping in her signature Mockingjay on fire, this follow-up poster is far less diplomatic. A smashed statue of President Snow, without its head, crumbles to pieces in front of a spray-painted Mockingjay insignia. Check it out below:

As mentioned above, not a lot of subtlety here which hints at a move into the more visceral end of politics and war for Katniss and her acolytes. And seeing as this is the last Hunger Games movie, expect a lot of blood on the battlefield.
Directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore, Jena Malone, Natalie Dormer, Sam Claflin, Donald Sutherland and Gwendoline Christie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 opens on November 20.
