Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, the longstanding crowd favorite for Xbox One backwards compatibility, is finally having its day. Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hryb revealed that the 2012 shooter will join the future-proofed library today.
If you don't already own it, you can buy it digitally for $19.99 / £15.99 if you're an Xbox Live Gold subscriber.
The original Black Ops came to Xbox One backwards compatibility just under a year ago in May 2016, though Black Ops 2 has been at the top of the official user voting chart since at least July 2015. Now that it's off the waiting list, the current favorite is Skyrim, which, er… probably isn't going to happen, since Bethesda presumably wants to keep selling more copies of Skyrim Special Edition.
