We sort of thought the Guinness Book of World Records was a collection of definite, measurable achievements. Like, that's pretty much everything it represents... or not - the latest edition of the Guinness Gamers' Edition contains a list of the top 50 game series, not by total sales or anything factual like that, but as determined by a poll. It's horrific.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was the big
winner at last night's Interactive Achievement Awards (IAAs) in Las
Vegas, scoring a total of five top honors including the coveted Game
of the Year title. Rest assured, the likes of Portal 2, Uncharted 3,

Okay. We're not promising that Microsoft is going to release a version of the original PlayStation masterpiece Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Xbox Live Arcade this week.

Konami has said that the Leipzig convention later this week will play host to Hideo Kojima unveiling his new, undisclosed in-game themes for Metal Gear Solid 4 on PS3 with a new trailer.
The event will also be a platform for the firm to showcase Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles and Silent Hill Origins for PSP, and Dewy's Adventure on Wii.
