"Billiards on the go" sounds so boring. And "pocket pool?" Not so much. So what do we think of the PlayStation Vita version of Hustle Kings as a handheld version of one of the world's favorite bar sports? You'll have to read our review to learn the details...
Mix pool with high-stakes gambling and you'll get - surprisingly - an almost entirely unenjoyable game. The Hustle offers 10 variations on the classic game of billiards, though they must be unlocked over the course of a story mode that's about as engaging as an informercial, set to the strains of generic bar rock. From there, 170 vaguely distinguishable opponents await while bystanders offer side bets. No matter which locale you're mining for respect, you'll wind up wanting to nuke the place

You know what, Hydro Thunder Hurricane? You have no right to be this damn fun. No right at all. What should be a cheap, lame throwback to arcade racing of yesteryear turns out to be a downright addictive, thrilling little downloadable game. We just kept saying “One more race…”

Water levels. Developers love putting them in games, and gamers hate playing through them. We’ve been pretty much locked in this perpetual dance with game companies since World 2-2 of Super Mario Bros. Boasting some of the most realistic water yet seen in a game, third-person shooter Hydrophobia seemed poised to change people’s minds about how fun gasping for air can be. Problem is, the water in Hydrophobia is just about the only thing this first installment of a planned downloadable trilogy has going for it. See, the water is gorgeous. It’s slick and fluid. But unfortunately, everything else about Hydrophobia is, and please forgive us for saying this, watered down by comparison...

Hyperdimension Neptunia is a prime example of an interesting game concept that fumbles in its execution. It’s a Japanese RPG that’s essentially a combination parody/metaphor for the videogame industry, replete with allegories to actual companies and events going on in the crazy battle for market supremacy we find ourselves ensconced in. While the gaming biz is absolutely ripe for a satirical spin, Neptunia is the one thing a parody shouldn’t be – boring...
Hyperdimension Neptunia was a PS3-exclusive JRPG that took the premise "what if we could make the console wars into a video game?" and ran, full-speed ahead, with it. Its sequel, Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, advances past that stage of the console wars. It's a niche game, for sure. But even if you fit into that niche, is it the game for you?
Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory serves up tongue-in-cheek references to the console wars and cutesy anime stereotypes, but find out if this game is worth playing...
Despite the promising name, Hysteria Hospital is nothing to do with Victorian lunatics. Instead, it’s a medical variation on Burger Island where you run around a hospital making beds, delivering prescriptions, putting patients in diagnostic machines and so on.
