Its reassuring to see that the DS juggernaut is showing no signs of slowing down. There are constantly enough crazy games being made that demonstrate its mass appeal. Wed only be happier if there were more Wii games being produced. But dont let the fact that most of the games previewed here are imports stop you from getting excited. Remember, imported DS games can play on your American DS. You just need to get over your crushing xenophobia. Feast your eyes on the cornucopia of love
We take a look at the upcoming action RPG and walk through the first few missions. Check out our preview right here...
Okay, Marvel fans... we know many of you weren’t happy with the last Hulk movie. Maybe the director of Brokeback Mountain wasn’t the best choice, but... All hail Ed Norton! He’s here to make all things right in the land of Banner, as the star (and writer?!) of the upcoming film, The Incredible Hulk. And as you might have expected, he’s also lending his charisma to the game, along with Liv Tyler and other principle members of cast.
There's no movie sequel to the The Incredibles on its way, but that hasn't stopped THQ from making up their own. With a plotline that follows on from the original film, Rise of the Underminer begins right where the film ends, where the Underminer is threatening to wreak havoc on the residents of Metroville. You have to battle against him, travelling through the city and the underground maze beneath it. You play as Mr Incredible or Frozone, who each have their unique skills. Mr Incredible uses
In the E3 demonstration for the as-yet-unsubtitled brawler Indiana Jones, we watched as Indy handily disarmed some Triad thugs in a steamy, dingy back alley. Then he grabbed one by the lapels and threw him against a car. Then he did it again. And again. And again.
Granted, the outcome was a little different each time, with the thug breaking the window with his head or bending backwards over the hood before slumping to the ground. From where we were sitting, it looked like a refined version of
Euphoria. Make a mental note, because youre going to be hearing a lot more of that word over the coming months. One, because for anyone even remotely interested in the worlds greatest adventurer (sorry, Lara), the sight of Dr. Jones on next-gen should be enough to induce - as the dictionary says - “a feeling of great (usually exaggerated) elation.” And two, because its the name of LucasArts self-created development tool, the beating heart at the center of the most realistic, most

It turns out that from 1961-71 there were no guns, turtle shells or otherwise attached to any racecars in the Indy 500, at least if the historically accurate Wii and DS game Indianapolis 500 Legends is to be trusted. We weren't about to let a sub-standard arsenal keep us from having a good time, so we focused on the one thing Indy 500 is really about: driving a car.
The game takes you through ten years of the Indy 500 with historical drivers, cars, track conditions and

Since it was first unveiled last year, we’ve seen InFamous 2 bring a lot of cool enhancements to the first game’s formula – a livelier city, more diverse enemies, better visuals, super-powered sidekicks and improved combat, for starters. At a closed-door session at GDC today, however, developer Sucker Punch revealed one more.
“We’re fixing the biggest problem of InFamous 1,” said Suckerpunch’s development director, Chris Zimmerman, during the event. “At some point, it ended.”
Assuming you read the headline, you already know what the solution is...

In case there’s still any lingering doubt, let’s clear something up right away: Yes, the tousle-haired, tattooed, teen-voiced superhero you may have seen in the InFamous 2 trailer is Cole McGrath. And no, the game isn’t a prequel. At a special closed-door E3 session, reps from Sucker Punch made it clear they knew the internet isn’t entirely happy with Cole’s redesign – or with his new, younger-sounding voice actor...

PAX might be an expo for and by gamers, but that still doesn’t mean everything there is open to the public. For example, anyone who wanted to play InFamous 2 could get their hands on a brief demo featuring the same fight and chase scenes that were shown off at this year’s E3 (albeit with the balder, uglier new/old design for Cole McGrath), but the new stuff was being shown only behind closed doors, at a hotel down the street from the convention proper.
“New” in this case meant a look at a previously unseen portion of New Marais, InFamous 2’s New Orleans-inspired, thug-controlled setting. During the brief, hands-off demo of next year’s open-world superhero sequel, we got to watch Cole wreak havoc in an open, swampy-looking area filled with trees and vine-covered plantation-style buildings. It was also filled with armed goons belonging to the Militia, an anti-superhero vigilante group described during E3 as a cross between the KKK and Batman...
