30 Nov, 2007 With the exception of The Elder Scrolls, Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon, it would be fair to say that the Xbox 360 is, at least for now, lacking in the hard-core RPG department. And with Final Fantasy set to hit the PS3 next year Microsoft needs to find a title that will entice RPG fans the world over. And they have. But not just one, in fact there are over 10 RPG's set to hit the 360 next year, and we're expecting more than a few of these to be life consuming epics. Over the

Jan 2, 2008 Hack 'n' slash RPG sequel Sacred 2: Fallen Angel has been delayed to September 2008. Originally, the game was set to release on PC and Xbox 360 in Q1 this year. According to Sacred 2 developer Ascaron, optimisation of the "crucial areas of multiplayer gameplay and balancing" are primarily responsible for the delay. MD Heiko tom Felde has explained that every single area of the game will be polished, "allowing us to deliver the quality which is expected, rather than striving for

Wednesday 12 April 2006 Word has just reached us that Polish developer Nibris has announced Sadness, a totally black and white, utterly mysterious game for Nintendo's Revolution console. We're failing to make any sense of the press release issued for the announcement, so we've published it here, in full, for your brain-fizzling delight: "Exclusive Nintendo Revolution title Sadness will be fully... black and white! "Nibris decided to follow Nintendo's path, which definitely fights the

Even though gaming's largest trade show has come and gone, there was no mention of Nibris' off-the-wall Wii title Sadness. Exactly what kind of game this black-and-white creation will be, we're still not sure, but these new screens shed some light on what you may be doing. A few of these screens show the lead character holding what appears to be a black Wii wand. Nibris wants to draw players into the game's dark, moody world, and if Maria here is actually using a wand, that could be the trick.

Wednesday 28 June 2006 Atari has released a selection of new shots of Saint Seiya: The Hades, a beat-'em-up based on the Saint Seiya anime series. The Hades is the latest part of the Saint Seiya story, which follows the exploits of five mythical warriors. Their power comes from the belief that each atom in the human body resembles a solar system, which means that each person becomes a small 'universe' and, in turn, becomes a source of power for 'saints' who channel it through their

Thursday 3 August 2006 Cunning Xbox 360 gamers have uncovered a glitch in the Xbox Live demo of GTA-a-like crime romp Saint's Row that enables you to escape the walled-in demo area and explore the whole city at your leisure - there's even an AK47 up for grabs. Here's how it works: Park a car next to the impassable red barrier and punch the Y button twice. If you've done it right, you'll leap out of the car and straight through the barrier. Now you can roam the rest of the city, and pick up an

When we got our hands on a preview copy of the sandbox-style thug life sim Saints Row, the first thing we wanted to do was create a video for all our readers to enjoy. No problem, said the publisher, but please - don't show any sex or drugs from the game. Um, okay. We'll simply focus on... other aspects of the game. Watch our exclusive video now just by clicking the Movies tab above. And remember - just say no! August 28,
