Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U versions to receive
bonus content…
Steam listing says it’ll feature four game add-ons…
Above: A trailer for the Wii originalWhen it became clear the Wii wasn’t the graphics workhorse
of its rivals, some enterprising publishers decided to try and sidestep the issue
by making light gun, on-rails shooters for their franchises. Wii players were
got House of the Dead: Overkill, Dead Space Extraction and the Resident Evil
Chronicles games which were me with moderate success at best. Now RE is
following those other M-rated shooters to the PS3 after Capcom revealed plans
to port both Wii titles to the PS3 in one arcade bundle...

You probably know about Resident Evil: Afterlife. It's a new Resident Evil movie directed by Paul WS Anderson and starring Mila Jovovovich. There was a proper trailer released for it a little while ago. But this trailer is way funnier than the proper one.

Hot on the heels of the rumor we may get a Resident Evil 6 announcement this September, comes news that Capcom is complementing the North American digital release of its Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica remakes with physical retail versions, with XBLA/PSN versions of RE4 and Veronica September 20th and 27th, respectively...

So yes, Capcom is re-releasing Resident Evils 4 and Code Veronica in HD for the Xbox 360 and PS3. And while this news has been pant-perturbingly exciting from the off, the initial set of screens didn't do a great deal to show us just how good the ports are going to look.
Now though, we have evidence of the games in the form of rapidly-updating images, run together so fast that they actually appear to be moving. How do they look? Remarkably good actually. Resident Evil 4 in fact, looks almost current-gen in places. So click over and ogle.

We recently reported the upcoming HD remakes of Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X would appear in the US as both physical discs and as downloads for 360 and PS3. Today, we have a new batch of screens, two trailers and news that each remake will ring it at $20 a pop. Kinda steep for years-old games, but we are suckers for RE4.

Imagine if Tricell Pharmaceutical Company made a product that transformed wimpy men into deadly killers who could survive being neck deep in a river of volcanic magma. Imagine that product being called 'Old Uroboros' and being endorsed by Resident Evil's metrosexual bad guy Albert Wesker. Now imagine if the TV commercial for 'Old Uroboros' was like this...
Capcom has released new screens of Resident Evil's upcoming debut on the Nintendo DS - Resident Evil: Deadly Silence.
Deadly Silence is basically a remake of the original PSone Resi, with Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield fighting for their lives inside the Spencer Mansion. The big difference is that Capcom has got DS's unique capabilities to play around with.
