    Microsoft-owned developer Rare could be planning a release of an updated version of old-school shooter Jetpac for Xbox 360's Live Arcade service, if a listing on the website of German rating board USK is to be believed. The listing on the USK's official page indicates that a game called Jetpac Refueled - defined as a shoot-'em-up - has been rated for release on Xbox 360, will be published by Microsoft and was approved for its rating on Tuesday, February

  • Rare fixes Jetpac theme glitch

    A minor glitch that prevented gamers from using an unlockable dashboard theme and gamer pictures in Jetpac Refuelled has been fixed with a new update. Rare released an official statement on its official site, acknowledging the technical blip, and apologized. To install the update you are actually required to delete the game you have already downloaded and completely re-download the now-fixed version.     Ladies and gentlemen, I am rather bloody excited this afternoon. Rather bloody excited indeed. As many of you will already know, I absolutely sodding love Joe Danger, the ultra hardcore, ultra friendly racer-cum-stunt-bike-trail-cum-platformer-cum-tribute-to-all-that-is-right-and-good-in-16-bit-gaming, released as the debut title of British indie funsters Hello Games last year. And the thing is, I've been sitting on news of the sequel. Well, the sort-of sequel. Because I don't think it's going to be anything like a simple recycling of the JD format. Oh no, it sounds way better and way more ambitious than that.
