may not be Halloween just yet, but you can at least start prepping yourself

A lot of video game locations, for reasons of gameplay and tone, are awful places. A lot of them, for the sake of realism, have people in them. These people are idiots. Yes, moving house is stressful and traumatic, but sometimes staying put is far, far worse.

Gearbox has officially lifted the curtain on the follow-up to Borderlands, but only by an inch. So far, all we have to go on is the above image, and while it makes for a nice piece of art, it sheds very little light on what might be coming from this highly anticipated sequel. There’s a guy with two guns, which means we’ll likely be able to hold two guns, and there are some robots and bandits, which means we’ll likely kill some robots and bandits. Beyond that, we’re going to have to wait to find out, but in the meantime, we have seven suggestions for things we’d like to see improved or added in this exciting sequel…
Hello and a very good Monday to you. Big week this week in gaming as we all get ready for Gamescom, not least Nathan who's going to be over there in the middle of it all. But besides our tangible excitement (or as much as we can muster on a Monday morning), there's news to be discussed, as we bring you up to speed with the happenings of the past weekend. So push Play and let the GamesRadar UK team inform your Monday-addled mind. Although... you probably should click through to read the *cough* 'amendments' before taking any of this as gospel.
As much as we hate when it happens, every year sees at least a few big games that can't make their planned release dates and have to be put off until the following year. Which ones seem the likeliest to slip this time? We've got a few ideas, and with 2012 stretching before us like a vast, empty canvas of possibility, now seems like the perfect time to share them...
