You know one reason the PSP outsells the vita? Cause the price isn't worth it for not enough games and FUCK THEM FOR NOT GIVING US THE PROMISED SERVICE TO MAKE OUR UMDS INTO DIGITAL DOWNLOADS! Seriously pisses me off. So much I refuse to get a vita.

Because Japan LOVES making handhelds, and Japan is confusing so the stuff they do needs clarification.

I am a New Zealander and was hoping an American could offer me some insight to American gamer trends, Why does every 12 year-old with a headset try to make as much noise as possible on Xbox Live and secondly why are they playing restricted games such as gears of war and call of duty, there is some seriously twisted imagery in those games which 12 year-olds should not be exposed to.

That's pretty easy. You see, in the good 'ole USofA, parents don't mind if little Billy plays games full of violence, killing hundreds of ...things, as long as he is a solider of some sort - be that space marine, navy seal, etc. BUT, no nudity...that's a nono. Now that you understand the mindset of the parents, imagine what sort of children they would rear, and there you have it. You're welcome.

ah soccer...the 'rpg' of the sports world. the 'beautiful game'. so intricate, longitudinal, with long, creative strokes. but... ...looks terribly slow and boring if you don't know what's going on. i honestly think the whole "generalizing america" is beyond stupid, though. would you generalize the uk, australia, canada, france, and germany, with their combined populations of 270ish million? 45ish million less than the us population? of course you wouldn't. because it's stupid.

If you think football is boring, you have never watched it with brazilian commentary
  • EpicWaffles - November 12, 2012 8:34 p.m.

He said soccer is boring because Americans aren't that good at soccer. Exception: David Beckham. But yeah Mexico and Brazil are beast.
  • SentientSquidMachine - November 13, 2012 7:42 a.m. many things, wrong.

I really like the idea of playing video games with complete strangers on some public transportation system. I kinda wish that was more of a thing here in the States.

the thing i've learned about japanese gamers and games is, if you put 3892710984 collectibles in your game, and have a ridiculously high level cap, japanese gamers will play it for hundreds of hours just to collect all the shit you put in it. japanese gamers play the most simple games for hundreds of hours, and i'll never understand why. i loved dragon quest 9 as much as the next guy, but when i beat it in 80 or so hours, i was done with it. these japanese folks are still running around with this game playing past the 1000 hour mark. it's fucking mad.

Bizarre, really. You don't understand football, so you don't watch it, but you clearly don't understand journalism either, yet you persist with it. Why?
