5 new maps for the game you love to hate

Didn’t get enough stimulation from the Stimulus Pack? On June 3, Activision will continue to pry at the wallets of the folks who bought Modern Warfare 2 by releasing the Resurgence Pack. Pricing has not yet been established for the 5 map bundle, nor have any assets been released to show what types of map will be offered. The press release does state, however, that Infinity Ward’s zombie corpse will be hosting two Double XP weekends, May 28-30 and June 4-6. Note: XP cannot be used to purchase the Resurgence Pack.

Shit game, shit price, shit maps (except the COD4 ports) and shit community. I won't be buying the maps, and to anyone who thinks that MW2 is good; stay off the good games! It was funny when the dumbasses (campers etc.) came on MAG. They stayed on for about a week, getting slaughtered. Seriously, did they really think that camping would work against 128 players? HAH!

I will be buying these. I don't like the price, but I can't help myself. I can't get enough of this game. I hate myself for it.

Its just been announced in an interview with major nelson. 5 new maps 1200msp. 2 old ones are vacant and strike. 3 new are Trailer park, carnival and Fuel. New maps sound good so is strike but i wasnt the biggest fan of vacant, i want the bus level back (bailout? the one from 'war pig') and 1200msp again?!?! ffs Activision!!

Place your bets! How much do you think it will be this time? I'm gonna say $15.

BIAS!! They didn't even mention the new map for Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Reflex! The map where you fight in the aisles of Best Buy to purchase a new console.

Damn, I could've sworn they said the XP was gonna be legal tender towards the map pack. Oh well....

@RogueRED the article says that the pricing hasn't even been revealed yet. If it's $5 (fat chance) I'll definitely buy it
  • RogueRED - May 14, 2010 2:01 a.m.

Thats a lot of money for only 5 maps. I'm gonna go play halo some more.
  • Pocotron - May 14, 2010 12:57 a.m.

But the real question is when it will be released after the 360 release? JUSTSAYINLOL
  • TheHolyHandGrenade - May 14, 2010 12:11 a.m.

Damn. I had money that it was going to be called Health Care
  • Tronto13 - May 13, 2010 11:23 p.m.

although i do prefer MW2 to BFBC2 i agree with moleman about not getting this package. Its gonna be too overpriced and if its anything like stimulus the maps arn't outstanding. Also i have a whole host of games saved for after my exams so RDR, Mass Effect 2, DJ Hero, Tony Hawk RIDE will be a much better use of my time :)
  • Moleman42 - May 13, 2010 10:43 p.m.

lol, i would never waste my money on this. i didnt even buy the other map pack, BFBC2 is a way better mp experience imo. Anyway RDR/Alan Wake will be keeping me busy for a while.
