Surely you’ve heard? This month marks the glorious five-year anniversary of GamesRadar.com, still officially the most official “official” website of the internet and, if we may be so bold, a pretty good place to read about games.

There's been a fair amount of concern and interest about whether or not the Nintendo 3DS is bad for your vision. Several news reports have surfaced claiming it could be damaging to the eyes, and Nintendo affixed a warning message that makes the Virtual Boy sound like a more pleasant experience. But now the American Optometric Association is speaking out and denying claims the 3DS poses a danger to young children...
Official Nintendo Magazine UK has given its website a makeover, just in time for the arrival of 3DS. Aside from the rather spanking new visual design, there's a brand new forum and improved in-article commenting. Existing forum users have even been given free kudos to reward their loyalty. Square Enix is considering a handful of Canadian cities for the location of a new studio dedicated to developing games for the next generation of home consoles. The publisher told Quebec newspaper La Presse it would be choosing between Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto by the end of May, with plans to set up shop in the Great White North in 2012...
Many people questioned how much of a commercial success the 3DS would be with no other Nintendo handheld ever being more expensive, but at least in the UK, it's already breaking sales records...
