Our friends at Official Nintendo Magazine UK have a new episode of Nintendo TV ready for you via the Wii's Nintendo Channel. Let them tell you about this week's goodness.
Tomohiro Kato was sentenced to death in the Tokyo District Court today. In 2008, Kato drove a truck into a crowd in Tokyo's Akihabara district before continuing his murder spree with a knife in 2008.

A New Yorker who apparently doesn't have anything else to do has become the first person to wait outside Best Buy for the Sunday launch of the 3DS. It had to be someone, but there's one problem - he got there so early, the NYPD made him leave for loitering.
The dedicated gamer, who goes by the name "Triforce," started waiting outside the Best Buy in New York City's Union Square...
Gamers love to get nostalgic for old games. But the danger of going back to the games we used to play as kids (if you were playing games in the early 80s, that is) is the inevitable crushing reality that they just aren't as good as we remember them. Often they're straight up pony. It hurts. But it's the actual crap truth about old games from the Stupid Ages. It's not funny. Only this video does actually make it funny.

Several news reports have surfaced claiming it could be damaging to the eyes, and Nintendo affixed a warning message that makes the Virtual Boy sound like a more pleasant experience. But now the American Optometric Association is speaking out and denying claims the 3DS poses a danger to young children...
