  • The Space Shuttle is on its final mission, and with it the dreams of a generation prepare to go to ground. Economies worldwide hang in the balance as unemployment in the US and UK skyrocket. The world holds out for a hero: sure, soon, and larger than life. And true to form, the Internet hears this desperate cry and puts forward a champion in the form of YouTube's own NotEntirelySure, whose Old School Gaming Feats include scoring 600 points in Super Mario Bros for the NES. • Super Mario Bros for the NES/Famicom turned 25 today, and that’s quite an anniversary for arguably the most well known game in the world. Though it wasn’t Mario’s first appearance – that was as Jumpman in Donkey Kong (1981) – SMB is still the biggest moment in the humble plumber’s life and a touchstone for an entire generation of players. And to celebrate this occasion, Nintendo has opened up a special site for Mario’s super quarter-centennial...

  • With the 3DS launch a little more than a month away, it’s about time Nintendo’s US branch at last revealed what games will be available when March 27 rolls around. 16 total games are hitting retail the same time as the new handheld, but are all of them winners? Probably not...

  • If you’re desperate to try the Nintendo 3DS before its March 27 launch date, we hope you live in or near New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, or Los Angeles. That’s because Nintendo has announced the dates for its upcoming 3DS demo tour, which will visit those cities.

Attendees will be treated to hands-on demos with 3DS launch titles, including Pilotwings resort, Steel Diver, nintendogs + cats, Madden NFL Football, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Asphalt 3D, and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition.

The Nintendo 3DS Demo Squads will also take you on a tour through some of the handheld’s built-in software. If you want to make your 3DS-less friends jealous, attendees will also be able to create a custom Mii character and upload it to their Facebook page or email it to their friends from the event.

You can find specifics on the times and locations for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS demo tour inside...

  • Halloween isn't just all about costumes and candy, it's also about spooky game add-ons filled with zombies, pumpkins… or both! Check out some of the Halloween themed trailers and screens that were released today…

  • Five hours ago we assumed Nintendo would just mention the Nintendo 3DS as a new piece of hardware, not fully reveal what it looks like, show us how the glasses-free 3D effect works and announce a boatload of games on the way.

We've only had a brief hands-on with the unit itself, but we do have a full list of games. Two already have us (somehow more) excited for the platform - Star Fox 64 and PilotWings Resort, yet neither was highlight during the show. The full blast of in-development games is just a click through.

  • Nintendo let loose with a ton of new info today, and while the Wii U was defintely the biggest bombshell, there was a ton of great news for current and potential 3DS owners. New trailers were released for pretty much all the upcoming major games, and we've collected the all right here for your convienience.
