127 Hours gets full trailer

127 Hours

James Franco’s man-pinned-to-rock flick 127 Hours has released another trailer online ahead of its bow at the BFI London Film Festival.

Directed by Danny Boyle, the film’s based on the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston, who gets trapped in the Utah desert during a trek. Can he survive?

This new trailer ditches the greatest hits nods that took up half of the first one , concentrating entirely on 127 Hours and cramming in a wealth of new footage.

Check it out below:

As expected from Boyle, the flick looks fantastic – vistas of gorgeous underwater lakes clash with the raw, pared-back footage of Franco talking direct to camera.

The latter could even beat Buried for one-man-show pathos and tension – especially considering the report that the flick will contain an hero of zero talking.

Boyle and Franco better get their suits ready for Oscar night, this one’s definitely going to land big.
