Pilotwings is still on many people’s wish lists for the Wii, and for good reason. Motion/accelerometer technology is ripe with potential for Nintendo’s flight sim/air sports game. Fanboys would freak out at the announcement of a new Pilotwings title on any platform, but you can’t help but wonder how the series would translate to a more real 3D environment. It would be far better than the original game’s Mode 7 graphics, in any case.
How many times have you been trying to fly through rings in your hang glider but managed to find yourself way off course due to a lack of good camera controls? 3D and tilt/head tracking could help you see things even more important than the landscape below, while still giving you total control of your flight path.
